This style comes with T&G included (unless otherwise requested) in either a random 6 - 8 - 10, or a fixed width of either 6, 8, or 10" nominal.

12" fixed Eastern White Pine

Character: The fixed wide board look...
Made popular in log homes, this fixed-wide-board look is commonly installed with square-cut nails, or screw and plug face attatchment. It makes a fine presentation in moderm farmhouses, and can bring an elegance and antiqueness to any colonial Americal home. This style come square-edged, and T&G or shiplap can be added for an additional milling charge.

13" and Wider Eastern White Pine

Character: What is the widest plank floor...
This is our widest variety, the one that restoration buffs ask us about the most. When you are talking about replacing a 200 year old pine floor with exactly the materials used "back in the day", then this is your style. Always face attatched with either plugs or nails, this wide Eastern White Pine floor is the tops. T&G or shiplap are an additional milling charge, and the widest size depends on the order, and preference (and available material).

Character: picked for color and grain style, knotty...
Here is our special case, that rare gem. Red pine bridges the gap between ubiquitous heartpine, and wide white. With an original color, similar grain and character to white, with the rare coloring that is sought after in rare occaisions when matching the hard-to-match. Harder than white, with T&G standard, this is one of the unique offerings in Timberknee's stable.

Heart Pine / Southern Yellow Pine
Character: Not every American Classic grows in the north...
Souther Yellow Pine trees, the geographically challenged cousin of the fir tree world, creates a tree that is mostly heartwood (as oppossed to the white pine that is mostly sapwood). This southern tree is a popular source for flooring, and we couldn't resist the temptation to offer it to our customers.
Timberknee sources its heartpine from southern stocks, and make available the best possible flooring that our channels can provide. As a result we have multiple styles of heartpine in both unfinished and prefinished varieties. Here is a brief listing:
